Reverse: Juno standing facing, her head to the left, holding patera in her outstretched right hand and a long sceptre in her left; peacock in front at feet, standing left, with its head turned towards the patera. Text around IVNO REGINA.

History: Julia Domna was the wife of Septimius Severus and mother of Caracalla & Geta. Juno was sister and consort of Jupiter, mother of Mars, and one of the most important of the Roman goddesses. She had many duties, each with an associated title, but as Juno Regina she was a protector of the Roman people.
