Reverse:
Quartered royal arms over long cross fourchée,
annulets in fork-ends. Text around POSVI DEV
ADIVTOE MEV (I have made God my helper).
History:
This coin was made when open debasement of
coinage began in 1544 to help finance Henry's
wars. A second mint was also opened in the
Tower.
