History:
This issue indicates that Vitellius intended
to establish a dynasty with the images of
his children from his second marriage on the
reverse. However, he was brutally murdered
by Vespasians soldiers in December 69 AD.
Vitellius Junior was also murdered but Vitellia
survived the fall of her father and was provided
with a rich dowry.
