Who are Dorchesters.com?
Dorchesters.com is located in the United Kingdom. We have been operational since 2002 but it is only since August 2005 that a web site has been set up. Previously customers dealt directly with Dorchesters.com or via e-bay auctions.

Where do you get your products?
Dorchesters.com has a close relationship with a number of museums and private collectors with the finest coin and medal collections. All of our products have been cast directly from originals. In many cases great care has to be taken to obtain a mould without damaging the original. Some of our finer pieces will only be available in very short runs due to the moulds wearing and crucial detail being lost.

How do I know that the coins are reproduction?
All the coins have an identification mark. Most have WRL but others have UHL, BL or other such marks. The identification marks are located in a position so as not to spoil the appearance of the coin.

Why does the shopping basket not work?
For correct operation of the Dorchesters.com web site cookies must be enabled. To see if they are visit the Home page where a display in the main Welcome window will indicate if cookies are enabled. For additional help visit the cookies help page.

How do you process payments?
Payments are handled by PayPal. After you go through the checkout you are passed through to PayPal to make you payment. You DO NOT have to have a PayPal account to make payment, you will however need a valid credit card. For more information about PayPal click Here.

When will I receive my order?
Orders are dispatched within 3 days upon receipt of cleared funds. Order within the UK will be sent via first class mail and should be delivered within 2-3 days of payment. Overseas orders will be sent via airmail and will take 7 - 10 working days to be delivered. Note that some very rare and valuable items will be send via a recorded and insured service. Can I purchase your coins and medals anywhere else?
